This is a short workation (remote work & travel experience) designed by Lu to give you "a taste of Uruguay" in only 2 weeks, to showcase the best of her homeland to fellow digital nomads. This two-week journey begins in Montevideo and ends in Punta del Este.
We will begin the workation in Montevideo, the country’s capital, where you will stay in a beautiful, high-standard co-living space with your own bedroom and bathroom, alongside other digital nomads from around the world.
After 1 week, we will head east to Punta del Este, Uruguay’s most iconic coastal cities, for a change of pace and scenery. Here, you’ll co-live and co-work surrounded by the ocean breeze, in a city that is truly a hidden gem in South America.
The highlight of the workation? An optional wild weekend trip to Cabo Polonio, an old fishing village accessible only by sand dunes, with barely any electricity in the evening, which makes it an amazing stargazing spot in Uruguay!
